Terra Astra is built on astro-cartography — a decades-old practice of mapping a birth chart onto the world. We think the underlying idea is beautiful. The interfaces that surround it, historically, are not.
We begin with your starting point
Your birth date, time, and place are the coordinates of a specific moment. From them, astronomers can calculate exactly where the planets were, from your perspective, at the moment you began.
Then we draw the lines onto the world
Astro-cartography extends each planet's position outward into lines that cross the globe. Traditionally these look like a tangled web — dozens of coloured threads over a technical map, indecipherable to anyone new to the craft.
We translate — never predict
Where classical astro-cartography sites hand you data, we hand you gentle language. Planetary influences are commonly associated with specific themes: Venus with love and warmth, Jupiter with expansion, Saturn with structure and challenge. We group them into everyday chapters — home, career, love, creativity — and describe what a place may support, never what will happen.
You stay in charge
The atlas is a companion, not an oracle. It exists to reframe the choices already in front of you — to give language to intuitions you may already have. The final call is always, always yours.
